I have always wanted to be a mom… more then anything. And with the journey we’ve experienced, I began to believe that while I might be a mom through untraditional methods, I would never have the opportunity to actually carry a child in my womb. I didn’t believe that i would feel the kicks and know that a life was growing inside of me.

I will forever be grateful that our Father in heaven KNOWS the deepest desires of our hearts and loves us. I do know that just because we have the desire doesn’t mean that it’s God’s will for us, but I will forever be grateful that He answered our prayers and blessed us with a little miracle. We didn’t have the easiest time bringing her into the world (Read our hospital story here: Be Still!!!), but for the past 6 months we have been slowly learning and adjusting to life with a little one. Now while this journey has had it’s ups and downs, I really wouldn’t change our story or our little miracle.

SO….. Meet Sophia Grace

She has truly been a miracle baby and we couldn’t be more in love with her. 🥰 Watching her little personality grow and change, watching her learn and imitate us. I promise you, my heart is overwhelmingly full when looking at her beautiful face.

Ben was able to take several weeks off (he ended up with four weeks total!!!), and we were able to enjoy our time together - learning how to be a family of three humans, three dogs, and a crazy cat.

As we’ve adjusted to our new life, we are constantly finding something new and intoxicating about having a little one ❤️ we can’t wait to continue to share our experiences 🥰
